Bride Wedding Speech Sample

First of all… I would like to thank my parents for their help and support and helping me organize this wonderful day.

Thank you to all those who traveled to share our wedding day with us.

Thank you to my maid of honor, (Maid of honor’s name) who has been my rock, friend, confident and overall stress reliever.

Thank you to my wonderful bridesmaids who look beautiful and have helped make this day special for me.

Thank you to the groomsmen and our wonderful Best Man who got (Groom’s name) to the church on time.(Optional ~ and remembered to bring the rings)

But most of all…. thank you to my amazing husband,… (Groom’s name). [Turn to the groom] Looking back, I’ll always remember the first time I laid eyes on (Groom’s name). At the time something unexplainable drew me to you. I thought you were so handsome and I got lost just staring in to your eyes. I made it my mission to get to know you better and knew without doubt that we would be together for a long time.

In the beginning our relationship was filled with excitement, adventure and lots of love. I had never felt this way about anyone before. And although we were both quite young, I was sure that our relationship would stand the test of time.

And here we are, man and wife, we made it! I feel so many emotions today, I feel excited, I feel happy, I feel love but most of all I feel like I am having an out of body experience, it’s all a bit surreal (pause for effect) and I’m glad we have photo’s and video to remember this wonderful day.

My darling husband, my best friend and soul mate, I have waited so long for this day and I will cherish it forever. I will keep my love for you above everything else. You are a wonderful man, thank you for making me your wife.
